Whether he really did stay, a signal for a second season, or a just a short thing to show what would happen and what he would do if he stayed is out of my knowledge's reach. Summary A person that was in the afterlife realizes that he is dead and questions why he is there. Basically it's another epilogue. It's an alternate ending to the original ending from Angel Beats and without spoiling it but I prefer this ending. It's pretty bitter sweet.
